A new partnership’s been formed between free music streaming website, we7 and CableCom giving students direct access to the sites huge track inventory. CableCom will make the service available via the Internet homepage. We7 is a no-hassle service with no application program download to worry about.
The site has over 4million tracks to offer students, Steve Purdham, CEO at we7, said: "Students are a very selective group who want quick access to new and cutting edge music. This generation has grown up downloading files and is therefore less likely to dwell on the consequences of illegal downloads; they don't want to steal music but their money is often tight. The real solution to this problem is offering them a viable and true alternative to theft."
As part of the deal We7 will provide access to exclusive previews of new music in advance of its release. There is also an extensive collection of unsigned and up and coming acts for students to browse, something that is often overlooked by music providers.
