While the world may be under financial strain, it hasn’t put off more than dozen budding millionaires from buying into the latest trend, iVip Black, the first iPhone application for millionaires.

You don’t have to be a millionaire to afford it, but priced at £599.99 it’s still one of the most expensive around. For your money you get access to a number of exclusive benefits and privileges, across a range of luxury partners including private islands, a concierge, super car club, private jets, theatres, butlers and more, all of which you have to pay additional costs to use.

To ensure it’s a millionaires only club, before downloading the app the user must complete a high net worth individual certification, basically prove you have more than a million pounds. IVip Black marketing director says, “it I great to know that there are still people pout there with money to spend at a time when we are in the grip of a recession… even millionaires are looking to tighten their belts and are buying the app because they want to take advantage of our privilege rates.”

For those not quite into the millionaire bracket, there is also iVip Blue, which gives access to the same partners and privileges but without personalisation or private consultations.
