Intel’s mobile platform ‘Moorestown’ is their latest mobile software to get the go ahead, and it looks like they want some help launching it. Intel and Nokia could team up and use this software to hijack Android’s attempt of Smartphone domination.
The mobile platform ‘Moorestown’ will be Intel’s first successful creation to work on a mobile phone, as previous attempts have demanded too much power from devices. ‘Moorestown’ is due out in 2010, and another Intel mobile-platform is scheduled for release in 2011.
In June, Intel and Nokia unveiled their partnership, to tackle chip manufacturers like Qualcomm. The announcement to merge its Linux-based operating system with Nokia’s is expected on their forum soon.
