Smartphone manufacturers make room for LG’s latest attack. In its most aggressive smartphone strategy LG will release three new phones in the next few weeks. The devices are just the beginning, with a total of 13 new LG Windows phones estimated to go global before the end of 2010.
The latest additions will be the first to include Windows Mobile 6.5, and will vary between full touchscreen, touch slider with QWERTY keyboard and a QWERTY bar-type device. All have been made with different sections of the market in mind ranging from the high top to the affordable.
The Microsoft technology brings with it an upgraded Internet browser, Adobe Flash Lite and access to the MyPhone service, which lets you backup your phones info on a Microsoft server. The LG Application Store will provide applications for the handsets as well as future LG smartphone devices
