Chyngle has come up with a unique app for the iPhone to be used at sports events. The app provides users with a map of the stadium, including their seat position. From there, people can access a whole range of different information, from toilet locations to security and restaurant whereabouts.

If you notice you’re sat at the opposite end of the venue to your favourite snack shop, then help is at hand, a simple text to the restaurant of choice, and they will find your seat and deliver it to you.

The application allows users to interact, not only with the medical and security services on hand, but other iPhone users too. You can post an anonymous message to get a lift home with someone, or if someone in your party gets lost in the crowd, post their picture and contact details within the server and anyone can access it to help.

But, this new technology comes at a cost, luckily not to the user. The company intends to charge the sports stadium or venue $2,000 (around £1,216) a month for use of the app. We think it’s worth it, but we’ll have to wait and see if sports clubs agree.
