Vodafone’s deal with Warner Music Group sees the company complete the set, with agreements offering music DRM-free (unlimited) across Universal Music, EMI, Sony Music and now WMG.
The Warner music will be without anti-piracy software, meaning it can be played on any device. The new deal will also bring other benefits to customers including a new range of mobile music bundles offering extra multimedia content.
Vodafone internet services director, Pieter Knook, said: ‘Warner Music’s addition to our mobile DRM-free catalogue is really great news for our customers …the response to the DRM-free offering in all the markets where it has launched has been incredibly enthusiastic. Our customers love music and they love the flexibility that DRM-free on mobile gives them.’
