Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the UK - over 44,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year and 1 in 9 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. So whether you've been affected yourself, know a friend or family member who has, or just want to do your bit, we can all show our support and help in the fight against breast cancer.

Most breast cancers are detected by women who report unusual changes to their doctor - this highlights the importance of being breast aware. Breast cancer risk increases with age and early detection offers the best chance of successful treatment.
