an amazing phone!!
I was new to the smart phone market and had been recomended this phone by a friend who also has an HTC. All I can say is that I now feel like I am properly in the modern age with this phone. My laptop has become redundant and my wife is very jealous.

Awesome phone, great for music, super fast, about normal smartphone battery life.
Really happy with this phone, especially having got the ice cream sandwich update a few days ago with Orange: it's made some of the longer animations a bit faster and you can now unlock the phone with your face - pretty nifty.
The beats audio earphones are pretty good quality, however all beats audio seems to do is make things a bit louder and increase the bass a bit. So if you like hip-hop, electronic or dance music it works pretty well. The speakers aren't bad either but don't apply the beats audio. I'd say it's mostly a marketing ploy that you could easily achieve with some decent headphones and an app that can increase the bass (there's a few on google play nowadays).
The screen is lovely and big, and seems hard to get scratches, the phone itself is super fast, however a lot of the RAM is taken up by the system and things. There's often no more than 150mb free. When I compared this to my mate's Galaxy S2 on benchmark tests, that phone scored far higher, probably due to it having a lot more RAM. However, everyone has that phone, and the build quality on the XE is far better I think. Also the camera is really good, too.
One niggle that I have is that between the screen and the case you sometimes get specs of dust or whatever. Also the case can get quite dusty inside. Another is that the unlock button can be awkward at times given the device's size. Apart from that it's an awesome phone!

Very Fast!
What a brilliant phone. More speed than you'll need. More like a tablet. Never had any problems with it and the headphones are top quay. Dr Dre Beats Class

Too clever
My last phone was a basic Knokia & this thing is a nightmare. The screen is too touch sensitive & very difficult to read in daylight.
I wlll keep trying but I think I've bought something too advanced from what I am used to

everything you could need in something that fits in your hand
Brilliant phone, looks gorgeous, with the beats audio it is perfect for listening to music, just sold my ipod as this does the job better in my opinion.
Upgraded this fromy my desire hd and I didn't realise how slow the desire was until I got the xe, it fits better in the hand, looks better is loads faster.
Could've live without this phone.

All Round Great Phone.
Having already had an android phone using the Sensation XE is really simple but for anyone who has'nt before it would not take long to get used top. The camera is brialliant quality as is the screen and also the Beats earphones. Only negatives I have is editing phone contacts is not the most simple process and the device has restarted it self automatically on a couple of occassions. Overall a quality phone and no regrets about purchasing it.

excl phone
apart from the samsung galaxy 2 this phone is one of the best, the only thing that makes this phone poor is that that battery life is really not that good, 8hrs max if you are lucky with low-med useage

Sensation..al ( Bad joke, but great phone! )
The HTC Sensation is a flagship media device. If music is your thing then this is the phone you want.
HTC are a fantastic manufacturer for mobile devices just looking at the specification sheet can tell you how good this phone is but the beauty behind this handset is the relationship HTC now has with Dr Dre.
The Beats technology included in this handset is amazing, it produces frequencies I didn't think i'd ever hear from a phone that should keep anyone from casual listeners to hardcore audiophiles happy.
It has a lush 4.3inch screen and is capable of taking a 32gb sd card for storing all of your media. The specification does state it has 4gb built in memory however like all android devices this operating system ( + HTC Sense ) does take up most of this so do not be alarmed you have 1gb of memory available when you receive it. My recommendation would be to purchase a minimum 8gb memory card ( can do so for as cheap as £15/20 ) so you have plenty of room for your apps and music.
If you carry around ipods/music players and a phone then choose this as your next device and you won't be dissapointed from combining the 2!
