Nokia Lumia 800 - Simplicity at its best
At first glances the Lumia 800 was pleasing to the eye. A sleek design that was not only great to look at but comfortable to hold and use too, even more-so when I put on the free gel protective sleeve/case thingy majig.
I could not help but feel a little duped as I turned it on for the first time and noticed just how simple the operating system was. Yet as I spent more time getting used to it and exploring, I found it not to be simple, but well thought out and minimalistic. No need to scroll through endless menus and sub menus to get to what you need.
I was dissapointed however, by the fact you can barely customize it with wallpapers and your own ringtones. Still, I imagine that as updates come out for the OS, those things will become a possibility.
The location of the buttons is also a huge plus for me, as with other phones, I always had the issue of the screenlock magically unlocking and the phone dialing out in my pocket. Not once have I had that issue with this phone. Battery life is absolutely great too.
This phone has become the center of my world since getting it, I am able to control my laptop and my xbox with it as well as being able to tether it for internet when I need to offering great transfer speeds. ( I can even play matchmaking on xbox live without lag with it tethered to the xbox.)
In all, I can't see my changing what phone I use for a long time now I have the Lumia 800.

Fantastic phone for the price very happy x
We brought this phone for my son as he kept asking for an iPhone but I think he's to young so we got the Nokia instead and he was really pleased and we have not heard about an iPhone since excellent.

Easy to use and set up but lacks some basics!
Nice looking, nice weight, easy to use and lots of apps. The down side that nobody tells you about:- you cannot use your own ringtones! Bluetooth can only be used for head sets and car kits, not data transfer.

This phone is easy to use once you get use to it
I would recommend this phone, the camera is really good quality, I have only downloaded a few apps but the ones I have are good, this phone is also very light and slim so easier to handle than most other phones.

this product is ideal.
Thid product is fantastic. The only bad thing about it is it takes a while to get used too it and its features/layout but I guess you get that with any new phone! Other than that id highly recommend people buy this product! I love the xbox companion as I always go on the xbox. Once you get used too it its really amazing!

Great phone depending on what you need
I can do everything I need to do with this phone. Its was easy to set up & is very easy to use. But it depends on what you like to do on a phone is to whether this one is for you. I use mine to obviously call/text but I also use the web, ebay, get my emails (again easy to set up) & listen to music (radio is really bad though, I can only get 2 stations - heart & classic fm, neither of which are my bag!). But if you want apps its not great, I downloaded the xbox app but so far haven't been able to get it to work it just keeps saying that it needs updating, even though I have done it (more than once). The battery life problem seems to be sorted, I can get at least 2 days between charging but it does need to be connected to a pc regualrly to get updates whcih is a bit of a pain.
If like me you're not too bothered with apps then this is a great looking, reactive phone that does what it needs to do
