great phone does exactly what it says on the tin five star *****had a curve but this has far more features and benfits than the curve great camera ease of use brilliant . defo recommend 21 August 2012

Great Phone for Busiess and Pleasure I have debated over i phone versus Blackberry and as I predominantly use my phone for work and sync it to my outlook I opted, with doubt and caution for the Blackberry 9790. I have had it for two weeks now and quite honestly it's the best phone I've ever had. It does so much and so quickly and you are not fiddling about with touch screens and turning your phone so the keys are bigger etc. I can produce, attach and send word docs and spreadsheets, e mail, get e mails instantly, take great pictures, go on facebook etc. etc. I would recommend this phone to anyone and the apps are good too especially BB travel which is fantastic if you travel a lot. The only reservation I have is the UMA signal booster. I live in a village with less than perfect reception and work from home a lot but the UMA doesn't seem to make a jot of difference. Otherwise a brilliant phone and great to use because it works and does everything without any issues. 14 August 2012

This product is brilliant I am really pleased with my Blackberry Bold 9790. After reading reviews I was a bit wary about getting the phone as there were a few negative comments however I am really pleased that I chose this phone! 01 August 2012

this prouduct lasts for very long this is a excellent product it lasts for a long time, its got good features and a brilliant phone blackberry's are great for like when ur working its got notes ,a calculator ,it weights ur money n many many more like games internet. 25 July 2012

Amazing Best phone i have ever had! Battery life is great, Lasted me 2 days without charging. when you buy it the best thing to do is get a little sock for it that keeps it charged Theres a tiny problem with all phones they are so easy to drop and so expencive so i would get a gurantee with it The scroller is great, not got jammed or anything! The features are also great lots of games to play, And best of all the camrea got loads of diffrent lenses to take more relibile pictures 16 July 2012

love this phone but... love this phone but i dont really get a good signal which i know is the networks fault not the phone. the battery doesnt last very long and has to be charged every day, otherwise i love it, great phone. 07 July 2012

Battery Life Rubbish I have had my phone for over two weeks.. The handset gets quite hot when using apps or browsing the internet. Worst of all is the pathetic barrtey life, Half a day if you lucky before it runs out (and that was acually doing nothing with the phone, just on standby) You will need to charge it constantly, ie overnight, in the car, at the office, anywhere. The phone it self in all fairness is very good, but a poor battery makes it usless. Bon't buy - Blackberry need to recall this product. 01 July 2012

Good phone Very stylish phone but features could be better like apps and games but is very reliable and is easy to use. If your looking for games or apps get the samsung galaxy s2 which has a very slim and nice design. 07 June 2012

If you have a two year old BlackBerry, or no BlackBerry then get this! I had serious doubts when getting this phone but it has turned out to be fantastic. Because it is fairly new, not all apps are not compatable yet but probably will be with the next app upgrade etc. The phone is easy to use, user friendly, fantastic touchscreen response and the features are incredible. The battery life is reasonably good compared to other phones these days, it can give me two days and a bit on 3G. Has not lagged since I have got it. The camera has amazing quality, however, the quality is good with plenty of light. At night and long distance do not go well with the camera, so if you're interested in night shots with this phone, then I do not recommend the camera. The features are incredible, I never get lost with this phone as it's GPS is very accuarate. BlackBerry Maps on the phone gives you a navigation line to follow, and will track you're movements. This also works with Google Maps. If you, like me before this phone, has an old BlackBerry such as the Curve 8520 (no 3G, no GPS), then I would definatly recommend this phone. If you are a first BlackBerry user I would defiantly recommend this phone. However as I said with the apps, if you have important apps that yu would like, double check that the lastest version of the app is available for this phone via BlackBerry World online. I have had the phone for 2 months and do not regret it. 16 May 2012

would the blackberry be able to survive couple of drops and not crack or break like the bb 9780?

Also how would the battery life be if i use blackberry messenger moderatley, along with internet usage and media?

Most phones can survive a couple of drops, however it is recommended to purchase a case for the handset. Battery life in smartphones are around 1-1.5 days however blackberry's do tend to fair better in the battery department than most handsets.
