a let down Looks cheap keeps crashing and not as good as the Galaxy s3. Theres just no style in this product just a metal back, wow it looks bad and makes the phone heavier. As for the specs there very poor. 08 May 2013
I would I love my One X,but as i have said before i am now fed up with HTC bringing out a newer version just a couple of months after releasing their "flagship" phone. It is uber annoying as they have done it to me with the Desire, Sensation and the two phones i had of theirs prior to that. but it is a jolly good phone the only slight niggle is that battery life. cheers 16 March 2013
Excellent, But Battery Life, I have had the one x for two weeks and am amazed as a technophobe how easy its been to use. The battery life isnt all that but unless you are constantly gaming, away from a power source, its not an issue 26 September 2012
Worth the Money It was this or the iphone 5 and i didnt want to be mainstream and got this...Totally worth it! Everything on the phone it top and its quad core processor is super quick 24 September 2012
Disappointing I had only had an iPhone 4 as a smart phone before this and decided I should try something new. I wish I hadn't bothered. The battery on this is appalling, most of my favourite apps aren't available for it, it is too big to fit comfortably in my pocket or in the pockets of half my bags. The ony way I can get my email to work properly is by using the Yahoo and gmail apps, if I use the email function on the phone it doesn't delete or move them on my PC so I have to check everything twice. If I use the hands free the person I am talking to can hardly hear me. The camera is good and the screen is impressive but I really wish I had waited and got an iPhone 5 instead. I am hoping it will grow on me over time. 20 September 2012
really good features This phone is perfect for everything, battery, reliability, features. I would recommend everyone. That's why I give it a star rating of 5. This has everything I need 18 September 2012
top of the game You will not want anything else ... That is the best phone in each department ... Forget about iphones and other quasi smartphones . HTC one x is stunner ... 16 September 2012
Awesome Phone Awesome phone, specially the features like you can take photos while recording and HDR. Screen brightness is awesome. No doubt one of the best phone available in the market. 14 September 2012
Big & Bold! Having upgraded from the HTC Widfire, I can't get over the speed of this whe nopening applications. Click and voila! Loads really fast. Screen quality is excellent and BIG! Still getting used to the size of the screen... When I look at my old Widfire, I think - "It's tiny"!!!! Took a week or two to find my way around it, but I am so pleased I upgraded!!! Only down side is battery life - have to charge almost daily, which I didn't have to do with the Wildfire... But the upside is screen size and quality.... No contest! Keep a charger cable in the office, so no problem! 12 September 2012
Had this the day after release. I have had my HTC ONE X since April 6th 2012. Phones 4 U even gave the Wifi Media link free with the phone as I had pre ordered it. I like many here was sceptical about the battery and memory issues. However after recent updates the phone last me over a day with normal use, GPS, Wifi, on and off through out the day. And the memory is big enough for everything I use and plenty left over for future pictures and video. The camera is the best I used on a phone, and the children in the youth group that I help out with love as well becaise it takes great actions shots in continuous mode. I have had a HTC Wildfire (Daughters Phone) and my previous phone was the HTC Desire and I just think the way Sence works is great. Sound on the HTC ONE X is excellent due to the Beats Audio out put, even when I use my blue tooth headphones with it. I did buy an emergency charger for the Desire originaly and it works with this phone as well, but I hardly ever have to use it only when I forget to charge it at night. Having said that all smart phones need a charge at night, my old Motorola A1000, My Nokia N95 also needed charging at night so you could say I knew what to expect. All in all I think the HTC ONE X is a great phone and easy to get used to and failing that there is actually a how to guide built into the phone. But If you have used Android before you will soon learn how to use this phone. 11 September 2012

Hello Bridawg

All handsets purchased from the "contract" and "pay as you go" sections of the Phones4u website would be locked to the network you purchase them on.

All handsets may come branded as we cannot guarantee an unbranded handset.

I hope this helps

Hello ellie1234

Internet use on a phone is a bit different to that on a normal computer, phones don't use anywhere near as much data as computers do, so the internet allowances go much further.

Internet use doesn't work on the amount of time you spend on the internet, it works on what you actually do while your on the internet. for eg, 1GB of data is approximately 600 web pages per day every day. that's a massive 18,000 web pages every single month for you to go on.

People generally worry that using facebook or twitter alot will make them go over their allowances. but facebook and twitter use very small fractions of data so have only a very small impact on your allowances.

It is true however that services like youtube and bbc iplayer would use more data. but even so, 1GB is enough for even a super heavy user. do also bear in mind that when you are using WiFi at home or a friends house etc, that it would not use your data allowance. so most people use much much less then they think they will.

I hope this helps

Battery life is of great concern to people nowadays. as the more powerful our phones become, the more juice they use.

Gone are the days of the Nokia 3310 where a single charge would last a week, today's phones are not just like computers, they are computers, and very powerful ones at that. with that in mind you can expect to charge any new super phone every day. A laptop battery lasts around 2 hours, a phone battery lasts a day. that's pretty good going. the question really, is, will it last a full day.

Yes, it should. having a quad core processor means its actually much lighter on its battery than a single core. if you find that you are having battery difficulties there are a few things you can do.

Turn your brightness down. The screen is by far and away the biggest power drain. so turning your brightness down will make the battery last much longer.

Turn off WiFi and auto sync when you don't need them.
your super phone will do lots of cool stuff in the background to make sure you have all the information you want and need at your fingertips. but this of course uses power. Turn any services you don't need or use much off. that will save on wasted battery for sure.

Don't panic, when your battery has 50% left, its easy to get flustered and start to doubt if it will last. but 50% is half battery. so you still have plenty of juice left.

I hope this helps

Hello Susan

On both the o2 "On and On" and the T-mobile "Full Monty" tariff deals you get truly unlimited mins. There are no fair use polices for the mins and texts on these packages.

Additionally the data use on the On and On tariff is 1GB and the T-mobile Full Monty is unlimited data.

I hope this helps

Answer:
Hi Adam,
Bill credits reduce the cost of the tariff and the reduction is already included in the line rental shown. For example:
The line rental may show £28.50 with a £7.50 bill credit. This means that the tariff should be £36 a month but you only pay £28.50. These are automatically applied to your bill each month.
