Absolutely average This phone is poor. It constantly is unresposnsive and a lot of apps take minutes to load. The battery life is also poor but it is packed with a lot of modern features. However, the bad totally outweighs the good, and I wouldnt even recommend it to John Terry. 15 December 2012

this phone is appaulling never get htc again does not disconnect from calls. flashes the front screen all the time. takes photos of its own screen. totally unusable. i will never have htc again. i am now struggling to get an equivelant phone to exchange it for!!!! 31 October 2012

A great phone with all that i need for business and personal usage This phone has an unexpectedly great camera. I love the ability to record events while also taking still shots, with great clarity. For filming motor racing the sloooow mooooo was fantastic. The battery is a touch short on life but that said it charges nice and quickly back to 100%. I would recommend this to anyone and my wife is now considering purchasing one, at least then I'll be able to get back to playing angry birds. 28 August 2012

Simply amazing. The battery lasted 6 days without charging the first time I used it, and has not dipped below this limit once. As an mp3 player it is amazing with the Beats audio. The fact you can't expand the memory was a concern at first, but after loading my entire music library onto it I had used barely a fraction of the full capacity. Everything about this phone is great, it is slim and light, the screen is easily visible in any light environment, impossibly good battery life for a smart phone and the touch screen is very responsive. The camera is great and can take pictures while recording, not something I use regularly but useful to know nonetheless. Would recommend this to anyone. 14 August 2012

Had one s - now got one x Got the one s because it was smaller size and had metal case, as well as all the whistles and bangs. It worked for about a week. However, battery life was shocking; call quality was echoey; wi fi kept dropping. Then the buttons at the bottom stopped working - you tube one s home screen problem to see the issue. It's very widespread on lots of one s phones. I guess anyone can get a broken one, but even when it worked it was no good really. However, phones4u were very good, and swapped it for a one x, and everything works better and more easily on this phone. Wifi doesn't drop, calls much clearer. Wish I'd got it from the start. 14 August 2012

Great phone This was my first smartphone and I found it very easy to use and adapt to. Great features, works well. Only problem is the battery life rarely lasts longer than a day but I was used to my old brick lasting a week! 30 July 2012

A good choice Upgraded from an HTC Legend to the One S so I am an Android fan. I chose this over the One X for price reasons but also because I found the One X just too big for my pockets! The HTC Sense interface is greatly improved, some Android purists don't like it but I do and find it very fast on this phone and easy to use. The phone feels light and well made, I did buy a case for it straight away as it's a slippery sucker. Most days, I'm a fairly heavy user of email, internet, messaging and calls and I find the battery easily lasts the day which is pretty good for a phone of this spec in my opinion. The camera is easy to use, takes good quality snaps and has all the 'effects' I need. The lack of SD card slot is not a problem for me as I don't need massive storage. The non-replaceble battery was more of a concern but Apple get away with it so I'll wait and see. The headset seem poor quality, which is a disappointment, so I'll be replacing them. The first phone I received had small piant chips on it so I took it back to a Phones4U shop and they replaced it without question so all good. Overall, I'm very pleased with my choice, a very good phone. 28 July 2012

Fast, brilliant, sets you free Very fast. Good battery life. Liked the ability to stream media to my smart tv. Flash videos play without much delay. Easy to manage music and other media files. Black is great but scratch prone. Nee to have a cover. Upgraded from iPhone and I like it much more because of the versatility and lack of unnecessary restrictions. Gooooooood phone. 27 July 2012

4 hour battery Packed with features. Nice looking and feel Decent quality screen Battery dies by lunch whereas ny iPhone 4 would last all day with the same useage Crashes quite often. Useability not as easy as iPhone. 26 July 2012

HTC has poor customer service I found that to start with the phone was great and everything i could have asked for, then about a month after purchasing i encountered a number of problems with the phone which were software related. i contacted Htc about these problems and they said that they would fix it as it would still be in warrenty i was then later to find out that since my phone had a few minor scratches they were unable to fix it for me unless i payed a hefty price, i struggled to communicate with the staff and was forced into paying just to get my phone back i found that the level of customer service was unacceptable and for this reason would not buy a phone from HTC again. 25 July 2012
