overall great phone have found the galaxy 3 s a really good phone, I had Sony xperia u before and it wasn't all that brilliant. Samsung galaxy has great features and is easy to use and the battery life is really good I am glad I made the right choice 13 June 2013

great phone I have had this phone for four days now, before it I had the Galaxy Ace but weirdly this is still taking some getting used to! i find you have to really shout to use the 'voice search' etc but it works well. The battery life so far is amazing! im constantly using my emails and texting but yet iv only charged it twice. so far im quite happy with it, but the 'it see's you: the screen turns off when u look away' isnt working for me :/ but still a good phone! 03 June 2013

it has a beautiful clear srceen and colour and has fantastic graghics I am so pleased I went for this phone as it is fab when you text or when you put your contacts in. It is so easy to use. The use of dowloading photos or games is great. Or playing games I love it and calling people is. So easy and the sound is outstanding I'm just so happy with it and look forward to using this phone from now on in thanx phones 4 u 29 May 2013

SIM Card

Excuse my ignorance, but will this phone take a 'normal' sized SIM card out of my BlackBerry, or does it have a teeny SIM card like the iPhone?

there is 3 different sim cards, normal (big, like your blackberry) micro sim(,medium like the Samsung galaxy s3) and the nano sim (small, this was recently released when apple announced the iphone 5) so you may need to buy a new sim card:)

Obviously I dont own one yet but I have read in the specs that it uses a Micro SD card which is likely to become the standard for smartphones (Apple introduced it with the iPhone 4)

Most phone companies should swapout a sim card for you at no cost I believe

even when LTE/4G does finally arrive here in the UK this phone wont support it only the us 4g versions will support it also by the time we do get 4G there will probably be a galaxy s4

LTE/4G is not available in the UK to date. The government are looking at many different ways to implement this into the UK's broadcasting frequencies. Fingers crossed it will be soon.

You haven't selected a phone for us to comment on, however a rule of thumb is 1-1.5 days with medium usage. This may seem very little compared to some older handsets, but smartphones these days pack in so many features that it does have a detrimental effect on battery life.
