Good Phone, The worst battery life ever I love the phone, It is brilliant with the apps from Samsung themselves as well as Google Play. The phone is very easy to use and gives various options for security which is very good. However the battery life is extremely poor even when ensuring apps are closed down the battery meter can drop by 25% within an hour of taking the phone off charge and by 70% within 24 hours. 09 May 2013
Brilliant phone I have nothing bad to say about this phone. It is virtually perfect and looks much smarter that the iphone! The large screen and its thin profile make it not only attractive but a pleasure to use. My only problem at present is getting my emails set up on it but that is not so much the fault of the phone as of the network. 08 May 2013
It works I am an iPhone user and was only coaxed into buying the S3 by my nephew who's an ardent fan!!looses out tremendously on style and class to the iPhone but was intrigued by the dual use and camera features!! 30 April 2013
First real android phone I have owned and can't rate it high enough For years I have been using seperate devices, IE phone for calls and messages, MP3 for music and PSP for watching films, now with the Galaxy S111 every device is rolled into one with more to boot, the endless apps will keep you entertained and also organised. I would recommend this phone to anyone. 26 April 2013

SIM Card

Excuse my ignorance, but will this phone take a 'normal' sized SIM card out of my BlackBerry, or does it have a teeny SIM card like the iPhone?

there is 3 different sim cards, normal (big, like your blackberry) micro sim(,medium like the Samsung galaxy s3) and the nano sim (small, this was recently released when apple announced the iphone 5) so you may need to buy a new sim card:)

Obviously I dont own one yet but I have read in the specs that it uses a Micro SD card which is likely to become the standard for smartphones (Apple introduced it with the iPhone 4)

Most phone companies should swapout a sim card for you at no cost I believe

even when LTE/4G does finally arrive here in the UK this phone wont support it only the us 4g versions will support it also by the time we do get 4G there will probably be a galaxy s4

LTE/4G is not available in the UK to date. The government are looking at many different ways to implement this into the UK's broadcasting frequencies. Fingers crossed it will be soon.

You haven't selected a phone for us to comment on, however a rule of thumb is 1-1.5 days with medium usage. This may seem very little compared to some older handsets, but smartphones these days pack in so many features that it does have a detrimental effect on battery life.
