Brilliant. A lot of people write negative reviews about these phones and I see a lot of teenagers writing about how 'rubbish' they are comments about the battery going too quickly. The verdict is, these phones were originally built as business phones and a lot of people nowadays like to sit on their phones all day refreshing facebook every 5 minutes, dropping their phone, heavily handling, and genuine miss-use. For the average business man he would only need to use his phone for a few mobile calls and emails throughout a day. And if this is done so correctly the battery CAN last up to 2 days. Also, a lot of people leave the phone on charge for hours on end which cooks the battery if you're not careful. The phone will freeze yes, but mine will only do that if I am loading up facebook on the application, I have twitter on the browser, I am playing a song and BBMing people. If you treat it right, the hardware specification is more than enough. It's a great phone, and for £100, no other phone for this price can beat it. I would definitely reccomend it, but people definitely do need to learn how to use them properly, such as clearing the event log which fills up (as it stores down everything you have done on the phone - again, business needs) And secondly, restarting the phone by holding down 'alt' right 'shift' key and the 'delete' key - Also known as a battery pull. So the phone can clear it's current cache and run smoothly. I feel as though I am ranting so I best stop - bottom line, it's a great phone. Highly recommend it. Thank you for reading if you have done so! 28 April 2012
Worst phone i have ever owned! So glad I got a new phone yesterday the Blackberry was driving my crazy and I'd only had it for around 5/6 months! The phone is okay when you first get it but after a while it starts to go really slow and crash all the time! I know a lot of people who have had the same problem. I used to get missed calls all the time simply because I couldn't unlock the phone to answer it! The phone is boring there's nothing fun on it, yeah there are app's but they take ages to download and they are bad quality. I bought the Samsung Galaxy Ace yesterday and it is 100000x better than this. I do not recommend this phone. problem after problem!! 28 April 2012
Get something else It's easy to use, but after a while, the battery life drains easily, and I've had problems with the battery, where the phone would be off charge and the screen would either fade to white, or it would go dead. The reboot afterwards would drain the battery, even on charge. There aren't many apps that caught my attention, unlike with iPhone or Android. The App World is difficult to use, and would slow the phone down. The phone would occasionally freeze, and the server would crash at any given moment, making it impossible to use BBM or any applications that require the internet. I definitely won't be buying another BlackBerry. I'd rather have one of those brick-like Nokias. 18 April 2012
amazing:) i think this phone is brilliant, ive always had a nokia and as soon as it broke i didnt have a phone, so my mum bought me a blackberry, the features are brilliant and i really like bbm, even though you have to pay for it too function, its got no limit and is soo easy too communicate. i also like the LED light at the top of the screen that alerts you when you have a bbm a text or an email, you can change the colour of the light too. the only thing i dis-like is that the camera doesnt have flash. 31 March 2012
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Ive had 2 of these fones and they are complete rubbish its always freezing and the track pad freezes aswell this may happen afta like 4 months.i recommend that you save up some more money and by the 9300 16 March 2012
this product needs improving this phone will lookgood at the start but it will mess up in a week or two i recommend the blackberry torch whichn is developed much more, espacially if you work. the keys always get stuck and apps take ages to load 12 March 2012

Answer:
On all Pay as you go tariffs you can pay around £5 per month from your credit for the Blackberry services bundle. Please contact your network to set this up.

Most contract deals come with the Blackberry services bundle already included. As long as the contract tariff states "Blackberry" either in the tariff name or in the special offer section of the deal it should come with full BB services.

If you are still unsure, please contact a member of our sales team and they will be happy to find a great package for you.

Answer:
Hello Shubby

Adult content filtering is the ability to block or restrict 18+ content from the handset. Blackberrys at the moment do not support this ability, therefore age restriction is only available on the T-mobile network for blackberry handsets. Adult content filtering is optional and is designed to protect young and vulnerable persons.

Hello questionman

Battery life is very important nowadays, as the power of the phones go up, its inevitable that battery life goes down.

The 8520 curve has a Li-Ion 1150 mAh battery wich should give you the following use:

Stand-by Up to 408 hours
Talk time Up to 4 hours 30 minutes

I hope this helps

Meet the latest member of the BlackBerry family, the BlackBerry Curve. Instantly recognisable bar one key element, say hello to the new touch sensitive optical track pad; a crafty piece of technology giving the user full control, making web-browsing a walk in the park.

The BlackBerry Curve has something for everyone, a full qwerty keyboard, document applications allowing access to Word, Excel and PDF files should keep the corporate among us happy; for everyone else there’s a 2megapixel camera, up to 32GB of external storage and a brand new music player complete with that all important 3.5mm audio jack and media sync to hook up to itunes.

This model is clearly the flagship of their non-3G range. But with Wi-Fi Bluetooth and Edge technology at hand I dare you to notice it’s missing. The Curve is sleek, simple and practical. And being the lightest BlackBerry yet, it won’t weigh you down.
