This product Has Great Features I am very impressed with this phone. 5MP Camera, Internet Access, Music, Gaming, Emailing, Messaging and Calling! That is all you need for a phone, and this phone has inspired me the most! I wasn't looking for a phone this good, but luckily i found one! I have used it for less than a month, and i already am enjoying my self with the phone! I can't wait to find out some new features about this phone! 03 May 2012
This product has amazing features I love this phone, i got it for my birthday, and it was very unexpected, and it was what i had always wanted. The phone is amazing, it has a great 5MP camera, and i love how long it lets you use for messaging and emails, and i love going on the internet on my phone, i hardly use the computer anymore, and i just love this phone, its amazing! If there was any phone that i was most impressed with, it'd be this one! 14 April 2012
not up to new gadgets but i can master most of the phones applications my wife bought me the phone for xmas only being used to a phone that sends and receives phone calls and texts and i did not use the phone much. but have been trying to get to know the new phone i seem to be able to manage it better than i thought a few hic ups but a nice phone a lot of features,.being in the older generation i need things that are not to complicated, 12 April 2012
Good phone This phone is great for emailing , Facebook or twitter however when it comes to phoning the sound signal is not great . The picture quality of the Samsung galaxy ace S5830 is super and you can really relie on it to take a great picture ! The battery life often lasts for 3 days at the maximum always charge as soon as the phone's battery life goes because it may harm the phone if you don't ! Overall this phone is an excellent phone and I would advise you to buy it if you are looking for a phone ! 13 March 2012

Hello Carol

All Pay As You Go handsets purchased on our site would come locked to the network you purchase them on. We do however have a sim free (unlocked) section of handsets on our website.

The following is a link to the Sim free version of the Galaxy Ace

http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_justphones_details.asp?ItemKey=502031

I hope this helps

Hello Geordie

First thing to try is un-installing then re-installing the application . make sure your data connection is active then send another one. if that fails to help. then i would advise to just use the built in mail application already pre-installed on the device, its feature rich and can combine multiple email inboxes.

I am wondering if the phone has the usual feature to activate the alarm at a pre-set alarm time when the phone is switched off. I have tried to set the alarm and switch the phone off but the alarm then does not sound. The manual is of little use.

Answer:
Unfortunately this feature is not available on any Android handset. However you can leave the phone on over night and have your alarm set. If you're worried about the battery life you can activate airplane mode to turn off internet, wifi, and signal (2g and 3g) and dim the screen in the settings.

The Samsung Ace is the latest star in the Samsung sky to join the manufacturer’s hugely popular Galaxy range. If you thought smartphones came with sky-high specs and prices to match, the Samsung Ace might be the one to bring you safely back down to Earth, with a great range of features that are easy to understand.

3.5 3.5'' Capacitive Touchscreen
5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash 5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash
800Mhz Processor 800Mhz Processor
Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate
Android 2.2 OS Android 2.2 OS

The Samsung Ace is far from bulky and comes with a 3.5inch capacitive touchscreen, so pocket-space won’t have to be compromised. Android 2.2 Froyo runs the show and there’s an 800MHz processor thrown in to keep all your multimedia bits ticking over nicely.

Entertainment is key and the 5MP camera with LED flash won’t disappoint. You’ll always be able to get online with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, and the built-in media player lets you listen to music, enjoy a movie or flick through those snaps on the go. With 32GB of storage space available via the microSD card slot, you could say that the Samsung Ace is well, pretty ace.
