This is a solid, budget Android Phone! I had the phone delivered 2 days ago and I couldn't be more happier with it! It looks tidy and menus are easy to navigate and manage! This is my first foray into the Smart Phone arena due to needing to use Whatsapp above all. I'm only a light internet user so I cannot tell you how this fairs with youtube and other media heavy sites. But for email and the like it's sound! Happy customer! Thank you China! 04 January 2013
Invincible!!! i had this phone for a good year and so and it`s totally brilliant with people coming up to me and asking me if its a htc! ive dropped my phone over a thousand times from my top bunk or the banister and it`s always stayed in shape idk about it freezing but sometimes i can slow down and not work so well but for a phone at this price .it`s worth it!!! 10 October 2012
Thought it was just me. Had my blaze about 2 months now and to be quite honest havent really used it as it,s not very friendly user at all. After reading the reviews about the phone freezing all the time I feel for you as it just completely drives me up the wall especially when trying to make a text. The space bar while texting needs the force of a sledge hammer and pushing 4 keys at once is the norm. Still it works pretty well as a paper weight so all is not lost I suppose. 24 May 2012
Fantastic on price and what it can do I brought this phone for my 10 year old as he wanted all mod cons as his older siblings but without the expense, it does the same as the more expensive phones, I am now thinkin of getting 1 for myself, the only thing I can say negative is its hard to get a protective case but thats what ebay is 4 :)) 18 April 2012
this phone is great for apps i had this phone about a week now and seems to be just great! im te kind of person who has to have lots of apps nd this little phone is great with the apps so far i have everything i want on it its better than my old iphone 3Gs 14 April 2012
Its amazing! Well i bought this phone yesterday. and its just amazing, its like an i-phone and a htc it one .-. seems this is my first android, and its a million times better then the blackberry i used to have. Easiest phone i've ever used. and the battery is good. lasts longer then my old phone anyway! 05 April 2012
Great features for cheap aneroid phone I have had this phone since new year and this is my first smart phone, I have been extreemly impressed with all the features that you get. The only draw back is that I have not managed to find out how to delete calls from call log, they seem to stay there using up memory 29 March 2012
bad battery life and slow, glitchy and fairly annoying i bought this phone about 2 months ago and i wasnt expecting great things so when i got it it was pretty good for the price, then after about a month it started to slow down and become unresponsive and now it struggles to perform as a phone(texts and calls) taking it to be looked at as it must be faulty.. 24 March 2012
Great phone This is my first smart phone and I've had it for a few months now. It has Android so it's packed with all the features you get on the expensive HTCs and Samsungs but for a quarter of the price. Sure it's not the fastest but it's not sluggish either. This phone has a medium size, but high resolution screen (320 x 480) which is crisp and not blurry like some of its (more expensive) competitors (320 x 240) in the same "value" range. Battery life is surprisingly good. I'm not a heavy app user but do occasionally read news feeds and browse news sites. It gives me about 2 to 3 days on a single charge. Ease of use is really down to Android itself, which is great but I find that apps don't always have a consistent user interface. Nothing bad to report on reliability, it hasn't crashed or locked up once since I've had it. The only things that could perhaps be slightly better are the signal strength of 2g, 3g and gps. I live in an area where the signal isn't good to begin with (all providers btw) and it's not as good at picking it up as the bog standard nokias used to. It's better than my other half's HTC Desire to give you a bit of comparison. The ratings do not include value for money but I'd give it a confident 5 out of 5 if it did. Highly recommended if you're looking for an excellent phone, regardless of your budget. 22 March 2012
excellent phone EXCELLENT PHONE JAM PACKED WIV FEATURES BUT THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE BATTERY LIFE IT IS VERY POOR I THINK ITS BECAUSE ITS A TOUCH SCREEN AND HAS SO MANY FEATURES BUT I HAVE THE SAME WIV MY BLACKBERRY BUT OVERALL GOOD PHONE BETTER BATTERY I WOULD BE KEEPING IT! 19 March 2012

Thank you for your question.

If you were to make a purchase with us. I can confirm that the phone will come with a new SIM card and mobile number on the chosen network. Any Top up (airtime) purchased would be applied to the new SIM and number provided with your phone.

We are unable to guarantee that your Three SIM would work in this phone we do provide phones that are locked to the chosen network.

I hope this answers your question.

Answer:
Thats a good question rushdie,

As we discount all of our handsets and as part of the deal we have with the networks all our pay as you go handsets are subject to a £10 top-up purchased on a new sim card.

As long as the handset you purchase is on the same network as your current sim, you can use that sim card instead if you wish.

Great question David1111

The Huawei Blaze android phone will support both voice and video calling via skype and other chat and messenger systems.

It has a front facing VGA camera for the video calls, and a 3.15mp camera for snaps, so you are well covered for your camera needs.

I hope this helps

Please check that you have the latest version of Skype, if this problem continues, please contact skype directly to see if they have a fix for this issue. If it still doesnt work, there is another video calling app called Tango which works very very well.

hi,

You mention that £10 airtime on the o2 network needs to be purchased with the phone. Does unused airtime expire after a certain period - eg if I make calls / data usage costing £3, what happens to remaining £7?

thanks,

Adrian

You'll keep whatever credit you have for as long as the SIM card is active. To keep the SIM card active you need to make a chargeable call within 6 months of the last one.

However it is available on the "dialaphone"website which I believe are owned by phones4u. At the same price. If bought via the "topcasback" site you also get 6.56 cashback
Hope this helps

Bought phone for hubby who wanted a touch screen phone but not interested in using internet or apps, just needs it for general phone use, plus pics. Contacted o2 who were almost useless. Gave me a load of technical info to input in phone ref IP addresses etc but still doesnt work. Administrator stated internet needed to be switched on to receive pic messages but if this is true, how did we receive this service before we had internet access on our mobiles? Any help would be appreciated

You might not have heard of them before, or even know how to pronounce their name, but Huawei sure know how to make a decent blower, the first of which is the Huawei Blaze, a mid-range Android piece that offers top-notch functionality without breaking the bank. Running Gingerbread 2.3 and sporting Huawei’s rather nice user interface, the Blaze offers both performance and style.

3.2 Megapixel Camera 3.2 Megapixel Camera
Adobe Flash 10.1 Adobe Flash 10.1
Bluetooth technology Bluetooth technology
Document Viewer Document Viewer
Google Maps Google Maps

All this is packed into a streamlined aluminium alloy unibody measuring just 11mm thick and weighing in at just 110g, in fact, it’s so svelte you’d hardly believe that they managed to shove in a 3.2" HVGA display into the thing. Add to this a 3.2 MP camera, bundled web browser and media player you’ve got yourself quite a media savvy blower.

Sounds good yeah? Well it’s not just about looks though as there’s a 600Mhz CPU powering it all along, 256MB of RAM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity and a microSD slot that can take cards up to 16GB. It’s certainly got the media moves as well as the style. The Blaze is sure to set the mid-range Android market on fire.
